Your mission
Our ‘’Too Good To Go Parcel’’ business is a transformative solution that enables food manufacturers to reduce waste while extracting value from surplus food. We purchase surplus from manufacturers, assemble it into “Too Good To Go Parcels,” and sell them at roughly 50 % off retail through our existing B2C marketplace. Customers may have parcels delivered or pick them up, creating a surprise unboxing experience. Manufacturers decrease environmental impact, maximise revenue, and enhance product visibility.
Your role
Logistics Manager is accountable for operational execution, performance, and vendor account management within a designated cluster of markets. You lead a team of Logistics Specialists and act as the primary anchor for 3PLs and last‑mile carriers. Reporting to the Head of European Logistics, you actively influence the logistics strategic roadmap and collaborate with Operational Excellence teams.
Operational 3PL Governance & Account Management
- Own operational and tactical account management of 3PLs and last‑mile partners.
- Hold external vendors strictly accountable to SLAs, processes, and costs through MBRs/QBRs and act as the ultimate escalation point for daily friction.
- Drive continuous improvement with 3PLs, aligned with internal and external needs, and communicate status and deliverables.
- Champion post‑purchase and delivery experience by analysing metrics and leveraging adjustments to increase customer retention.
- Work with Finance to track, audit, and tightly control supply‑chain operational costs, ensuring budget adherence without direct P&L ownership.
Team Leadership & Execution
- Direct and develop a team of Logistics Specialists, overseeing daily output, engagement, performance metrics, and tactical capability alignment.
- Own accuracy and delivery of weekly/monthly performance reports to the Head of European Logistics, translating order fulfilment and carrier data into actionable updates and risk‑mitigation plans.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration, Projects & Strategic Influence
- Partner with global and regional leadership to provide operational insights that shape and influence the strategic roadmap for logistics.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Planning and Finance to build a shared understanding and common goal.
- Own the implementation of new logistics vendors, operating models, tools, and processes when necessary.
