Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Linux systems engineer to install, configure, and maintain Linux environments (Ubuntu/Debian) for customers in Würzburg and beyond. You will manage Proxmox clusters, monitor system performance, and ensure high availability across private and public clouds.

You will document network infrastructure in NetBox, troubleshoot issues, support customers, and advise on system expansions. Strong German and English communication is required while collaborating with a hands-on team.

Qualifikationen

• Experience administering Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian)
• Knowledge of network configuration and maintenance (IPv4, IPv6/L2, L3)
• Experience with monitoring systems such as Checkmk and Icinga
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Hands-on experience with Proxmox (virtualization and cluster operations)
• Experience with NetBox or comparable tools for network documentation and planning
• Nice to have: Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
• Nice to have: Experience configuring routers and firewalls (VyOS, OPNsense)
