Job summary

Arnot Health in Elmira, NY, is hiring full-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for our Behavioral Science Unit to provide direct care under RN supervision and support patient care in a structured inpatient setting.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
Current NYS LPN License (or eligibility to obtain).
BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
Strong communication, observation, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to patients under RN supervision.
Assist with medication administration and treatment.
Monitor and document patient status and behavior.
Support therapeutic interventions in a structured inpatient setting.
Help maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
