Surventis, Münster, seeks an expert for legal operations to shape the global Legal & Compliance organisation from its foundation. You will develop budgets, manage legal spend, and oversee contract lifecycle and matter management systems.

You will drive process improvements, AI initiatives, and knowledge management while coordinating resource planning and cross‑functional collaboration across geographies.

Qualifikationen

• university degree in legal, business, technical or related field
• several years of professional experience with at least 3 years dedicated to legal operations, project management or related roles
• experience in an international manufacturing environment preferred
• able to manage processes and tools within a company
• collaborates with internal and external stakeholders across cultures, functions, geographies
• excellent communication skills in Englisch; German or other languages are a plus

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

At Surventis, a global Legal & Compliance department has been established. This presents an exciting opportunity to develop and shape the Legal & Compliance organisation for Surventis from its foundation. Therefore, we are looking for an expert for legal operations.

• In your new role, you support the strategic development and operational excellence of the Legal & Compliance department of Surventis on a global level.
• You develop and monitor the budget, legal spend and outside counsel management of Legal & Compliance.
• Furthermore, you manage legal technologies, including contract lifecycle management and matter management systems.
• You implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• In addition, you lead legal transformation projects, including AI and digitalization initiatives, and develop knowledge management and document management frameworks.
• You also coordinate resource planning and support organizational development within Legal & Compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• university degree in legal, business, technical or related field
• several years of professional experience with at least 3 years dedicated to legal operations, project management or related roles as well as experience in an international manufacturing environment is preferred
• demonstrated experience in managing processes and tools in a company
• strong project management abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with diverse teams; proactive, resourceful, and client-service oriented
• demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across cultures, functions, and geographies
• excellent communication skills in Englisch; German or other additional languages are a plus
