Job summary

GoodWe Europe in Munich is looking for a skilled Legal Counsel to join our team on a full-time contract. You will provide practical legal advice across commercial contracts, governance, compliance, and regulatory matters to support the business in a dynamic, international environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Law with bar admission preferred, has at least five years of legal experience (in-house or at a reputable firm), and is fluent in German and English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law; admission to the bar is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, ideally in a corporate in-house role or reputable law firm.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and corporate law; understanding of regulatory and compliance issues.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proactive, business-oriented, and able to work independently.
• High integrity and professional ethics.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and advice on commercial contracts, governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate sales, procurement, service, confidentiality, and partnership contracts.
• Ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Support internal stakeholders with day-to-day legal queries across HR, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
• Manage legal disputes or claims in coordination with external counsel.
• Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the business.
• Assist with corporate documentation, board resolutions, and filings.
• Support M&A activities, restructurings, or other strategic initiatives when applicable.

Your main responsibilities

• Provide legal support and advice on a broad range of legal matters including commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements such as sales, procurement, service, confidentiality, and partnership contracts.
• Assist in ensuring the company's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support internal stakeholders across departments (e.g. HR, Sales, Finance, Operations) with day-to-day legal queries.
• Manage legal disputes or claims in coordination with external counsel, where needed.
• Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the business.
• Assist with corporate documentation, board resolutions, and legal filings.
• Support in M&A activities, restructurings, or other strategic initiatives, if applicable.

Your Profile
