You'll be essential in managing legal operations, including drafting contracts and providing strategic legal advice. Qualifikationen

• 3+ years legal post-qualified experience in international firms or in-house, ideally in travel, fintech, or SaaS companies.
• Experience with German and EU compliance.
• General understanding of IP law/issues.

• Draft and review agreements with customers, vendors, and partners.
• Manage NDAs, procurement, SaaS, and platform integration contracts.
• Advise on corporate structure, handle regulatory issues with German authorities.
• Provide legal support on labor and employment matters.

About the Role

Following our growth in other markets, we're now looking for an experienced Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to support our expansion into Germany.

You'll be at the heart of our legal operations, supporting various aspects of our business with your legal expertise. From drafting contracts and agreements to providing strategic legal advice, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our compliance and success.

Reporting to the Global CLO, you'll support legal affairs across corporate, regulatory, labor and commercial domains.

What You'll Be Doing

Contracts & Commercial

• Draft and review agreements with customers, vendors, and partners
• Manage NDAs, procurement, SaaS, and platform integration contracts

Corporate Governance & IP

• Advise on corporate structure, manage communications with Board of Directors and stakeholders; draft resolutions and shareholders agreements
• Manage German trademarks, patents, and technology licensing

Regulatory Affairs & Risk Management

• Oversee compliance for GDPR, tax registrations, and sector-specific regulations
• Handle regulatory issues and communications with German authorities
• Develop risk framework and mitigation policies

Labor & Employment

• Provide legal support on labor and employment matters
• Manage AR/debt collection, legal disputes, settlements, and employment-related matters
• Coordinate with external counsel when needed
• Work closely with Head of DACH, CFO and other executives for seamless legal advising

What You Bring

• German law degree with admission to practice law in Germany
• 3+ years legal post-qualified experience in international firms, domestic firms, or in-house (ideally in travel, fintech, or SaaS companies)
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills - Enterprise SaaS, partnerships, and integrations experience is a plus
• Regulatory knowledge - Experience with German and EU compliance
• Experience with corporate law and corporate governance
• Deep knowledge of contractual and German labor law
• General understanding of IP law/issues
• Native German speaker with excellent communication skills and high proficiency in English (verbal and written)
