Data Protection Lawyer – Global Fintech | Germany

Our client is a global fintech leader at the forefront of digital payments and financial innovation. To strengthen their international Privacy & Data Protection function, they’re seeking an experienced Data Protection Lawyer to join their growing legal team in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Advise on privacy queries, risk assessments & data breaches
• Oversee ROPAs and support regulatory & third-party data requests
• Review DPAs and intra-group sharing agreements
• Maintain privacy notices & policies; monitor legal developments
• Identify compliance gaps and engage with regulators & industry groups

Qualifications

• German qualification with 2+ years’ data protection / privacy experience
• Strong understanding of EU / UK data laws
• Analytical, pragmatic, and collaborative mindset
