Search Advise GmbH is seeking a Team Lead Treasury to steer a growing Treasury & Payment Operations function. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to optimize liquidity, forecasting, and payments in a dynamic retail context.

The ideal candidate has several years in treasury/payments, people management experience, and a track record of improving processes via ERP and automation. This hybrid position offers growth in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, or Payment Operations.
• Initial people management experience with hands-on leadership.
• Strong understanding of liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and treasury processes.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms, payment infrastructures, and cross-functional collaboration with technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with ability to optimize processes and drive operational excellence through system enhancements and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Treasury & Payment Operations team, driving performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee liquidity management activities, including daily cash positioning and short-term forecasting.
• Ensure reliable and scalable payment operations across a high-volume consumer-facing business environment.
• Strengthen governance frameworks, risk controls, and compliance standards while supporting efficient operations.
• Partner with Technology teams to enhance processes, automate workflows, and improve system capabilities.

As part of a newly created role, we are currently tasked with finding a leader to serve as Team Lead Treasury for a steadily growing company in the retail sector.

Potential responsibilities:

• Lead and further develop a Treasury & Payment Operations team, driving performance, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Oversee liquidity management activities, including daily cash positioning and short-term forecasting
• Ensure reliable and scalable payment operations across a high-volume consumer-facing business environment
• Strengthen governance frameworks, risk controls, and compliance standards while supporting efficient operations
• Partner with Technology teams to enhance processes, automate workflows, and improve system capabilities

Your experiences:

• Several years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, or Payment Operations, ideally within a dynamic and fast-growing organization
• Initial people management experience combined with a hands-on and solution-oriented leadership style
• Strong understanding of liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and operational treasury processes
• Familiarity with ERP platforms, payment infrastructures, and cross-functional collaboration with technical stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with a proven ability to optimize processes and drive operational excellence through system enhancements and automation initiative
