Lead System Engineer (d/f/m)

The successful candidate will lead a technical team across multiple sites, overseeing system breakdown, requirements engineering, testing, and planning while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Location

Airbus site in Friedrichshafen/Immenstaad (Germany). Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Constance and on‑site facilities such as a lakeview canteen, cafeteria, and kindergarten close to the site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Teams: manage and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple sites
• System Breakdown: oversee the decomposition of complex systems into subsystems and components
• Project Planning and Execution: create and maintain project schedules and execute plans
• Decision‑Making: make critical technical and strategic decisions to resolve issues and drive project progress
• Quality and Progress Monitoring, Reporting: apply agile methodologies to manage workflows
• Motivate team members, encouraging innovation, accountability, and high performance
• Ensure compliance with defense industry standards and regulations
• Travel as needed to coordinate with teams, stakeholders, and clients
