The Resolute Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer in Frankfurt to lead the structural engineering input across complex data centre and mission-critical projects.

You will manage design development through construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions. Essentially, you will apply DIN and Eurocode standards, use 3D design environments, and provide leadership with a strong client-facing approach.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience designing building structures using steel, reinforced concrete and/or comparable structural systems.
• Good knowledge of German structural design standards, DIN and Eurocodes.

An established international engineering and design consultancy is expanding its specialist Data Centre and Mission Critical team in Germany and is looking for an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join its Frankfurt operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a structural engineer with strong consultancy experience who wants to work on technically demanding, large-scale data centre developments and take a leading role in the structural design and delivery of mission-critical facilities.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and other engineering specialists, contributing to projects for major international data centre clients.

The Role

As Lead Structural Engineer, you will take responsibility for the structural engineering input across a range of complex projects, from design development through to construction.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and delivering structural engineering solutions for large-scale data centre and mission-critical projects.
• Undertaking structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel and other structural systems.
• Producing and reviewing structural calculations, technical reports, drawings and design documentation.
• Applying relevant German design codes and standards, particularly DIN and Eurocode requirements.
• Working closely with architects, civil engineers, MEP specialists and other disciplines to develop coordinated design solutions.
• Acting as a technical point of contact for clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Reviewing structural designs and calculations produced by internal teams and external partners.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the design and construction process.
• Participating in design reviews, technical workshops and client meetings.
• Supporting the development of practical, cost-effective and buildable structural solutions.
• Monitoring the technical quality and progress of structural deliverables against project requirements and agreed budgets.
• Contributing technical expertise to the wider development of the Data Centre and Mission Critical business in Germany.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Around 7+ years of relevant professional experience within a structural engineering consultancy or similar environment.
• Strong experience designing building structures using steel, reinforced concrete and/or comparable structural systems.
• Good knowledge of German structural design standards, DIN and Eurocodes.
• Experience using structural analysis and design software, ideally within a modern 3D design environment.
• Previous experience with data centres, mission-critical facilities or other complex industrial/building projects would be highly advantageous.
• The ability to take ownership of structural engineering packages and work independently while collaborating effectively with wider project teams.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, contractors and other technical stakeholders.
• Fluent German and English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally where required for project and client requirements.
