Lead Solution Engineer Web & Mobile (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Software Engineers in e‑commerce, mobile apps and internal web applications.
• Drive technology delivery and end‑to‑end solution architecture for projects in Web & Mobile area using Salesforce Commerce Cloud, PIM/DAM, mobile apps and internal web applications.
• Coordinate continuous improvements through application design and backlog delivery with internal and external teams.
• Support budget discussions for the Web & Mobile area and optimize usage.
• Plan capacity and roadmap for the reporting line to share available capacity from IT team.
• Oversee code quality, define coding standards, security, test automation, technical documentation and fix packs/updates on supported applications.
• Present solutions and estimates to IT leadership, business owners and service owners for approval.
• Ensure adherence to IT processes, policies and digital & IT culture canvas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Hands‑on experience in solution architecture and development in Salesforce Commerce Cloud / B2C Commerce.
• Solid knowledge of MACH (Microservices, API‑First, Cloud‑Native, Headless) architecture.
• Practical experience with open‑source stack (Java, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or Azure Cloud).
• Proven leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams.
• Understanding of mobile development platforms for technical discussions and delivery management.
• Experience in project and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in dynamic environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English required; German language skills a plus.
