Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes technisches Studium mit Computer Science-Komponenten.
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in Frontend- und Backend-Entwicklung mit modernen Frameworks.
• Praktische Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Integration von LLM-basierten Anwendungen.
• Idealerweise Kenntnisse zu RAG und Agentensystemen.
• Erfahrung in der Entwicklung gängiger KI-Frameworks.
• Hohe Team- und Kommunikationskompetenz.
• Erfahrung in agilen Umgebungen.

Responsibilities

• Verantwortung für alle notwendigen Aktivitäten innerhalb der Softwarearchitektur unter Budget- und Zeitleitlinien.
• Beratung und Unterstützung von Vertrieb, Produkt-/Projektmanagement und Kunden.

Job description

For our client, a company of the thyssenkrupp Group in Bremen, we are currently looking for a Senior Software Architect (m/f/d). Empowerment and further development of the department and its employees as specialists in a specific area of software development and/or independent and holistic implementation and management of a work package consisting of one or more software architecture elements, taking into account standards as well as process and quality specifications. Empowerment and development of the department in a specialized area. Proactive development and ensuring of expertise in close coordination with management to provide the necessary skills and further develop employees. Responsibility for all necessary activities within software development and a software architecture, taking into account quality, costs, and deadlines, as well as evaluation, delegation, and management of all necessary activities within the work packages in terms of quality, costs, and deadlines (QCT). Consulting and support for sales, product/project management, and customers (internal and external) in the context of software development. Reduction of complexity through further decomposition, creation and initiation of implementation concepts and software designs, as well as linking individual software development artifacts based on a software architecture. Optimization of internal company processes through the use of AI. Identification, evaluation, and implementation of specific AI use cases and integration of suitable AI frameworks into productive use; evaluation and further development of selected algorithms with regard to quality and robustness; analysis of existing AI methods and technologies as well as selection of suitable models, architectures and tools

• Completed technical studies with computer science components (e.g., computer science, data science, electrical engineering, or similar)
• Several years of experience in front-end and back-end development using modern frameworks
• Practical experience in the development and integration of LLM-based applications
• Ideally, knowledge of RAG and agent systems.
• Experience in the development of common AI frameworks and their application context
• Skills in managing work packages in QKT and professional leadership experience (min. 2 years) OR extensive knowledge in the relevant area of expertise and the ability to support the organizational unit manager in developing and maintaining these skills and to guide the employees.
• Continuous technology monitoring in the field of artificial intelligence
• High level of teamwork and communication skills
