Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field.
• Solid experience in reporting, data analysis, or controlling for complex infrastructure programs.
• Project management certification (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2) is desirable.
• Proficiency with Excel and Smartsheet for reporting and dashboards.

Job Description Summary

The Lead Reporting Manager is primarily responsible for the strategic management and continuous development of the reporting landscape across multiple HVDC megaprojects at portfolio level. This role serves as a key interface between technical teams, project and program leadership, and external stakeholders. The focus is on proactive analysis, maintaining transparency on project performance, and ensuring a high-quality standard in reporting across the entire portfolio.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and continuously improve the reporting framework across several HVDC megaprojects at a portfolio level.
• Ensure the preparation, consistency, and quality of reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, program leadership, and steering committees.
• Analyze complex project data to identify key trends and deviations, and develop data-driven recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-project data inputs to deliver accurate, comparable, and timely monthly progress reporting, including all key KPIs at the project level according to customer requirements.
• Work closely with project and program managers to monitor progress, support strategic decisions, and communicate key insights.
• Facilitate management and stakeholder meetings with well-structured reporting presentations.
• Support risk identification and mitigation efforts through KPI and variance analysis.
• Provide guidance and onboarding support to other reporting leads and new team members.
• Promote a high-performance, ownership-driven culture in line with the principle: “Run it like you own it.”

Administrative Support:

• Supporting the project team with administrative tasks.
• Organizing and managing project management documents, including plans, contracts, and reports.
• Preparing meetings and taking minutes.
• Reviewing and continuously improving project execution (existing processes, practices, behaviors, and culture).
• Managing and auditing team communication documents such as team lists, distribution lists, and organizational charts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Solid experience in reporting, data analysis, or controlling for complex infrastructure programs or multiple major projects.
• Ideally having project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2).
• Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel and Smartsheet.
• Strong initiative, a sense of responsibility, and a strategic thinking mindset.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management at various organizational levels.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
• Experience working in interdisciplinary and international project environments.
• Familiarity with HVDC systems, offshore infrastructure, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
