Zusammenfassung

SpaceXAI seeks a Lead AI Tutor to drive training data efforts and end-to-end quality for high‑impact Human Data projects. You will lead a team of AI Tutors, coach performance, and coordinate with managers, leads, and engineering to translate model needs into labeling strategies.

You will review domain work for accuracy, guide process improvements, and track KPIs such as quality and throughput while maintaining accountability across the team.

Qualifikationen

• 6 months+ hands-on data labeling or related experience.
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and how high-quality training data impacts model performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; or 4+ years relevant experience.
• Based in United States, Dubai, Ireland, United Kingdom, Japan, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Philippines, or Singapore; remote work possible.
• Previous people leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Notion, Axiom, JIRA, Linear or equivalent.

• Manage taxonomies and quality assurance processes.
• Identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and track KPIs.
• Collaborate with Human Data Managers, Team Leads, and Engineering on labeling strategies.
• Coach and develop talent, support disciplinary actions, and maintain accountability.
• Document outcomes, suggest process iterations, and report status, risks, results.
• Represent tutors and foster collaboration across the Human Data organization.

• Collaborate with Human Data Managers, Team Leads, and Engineering to translate model needs into labeling strategies and requirements
• Coach and develop talent, support disciplinary actions, and maintain accountability
• Document outcomes, suggest process iterations, and report project status, risks, and results
• Represent tutors and foster collaboration across the Human Data organization

Requirements

• 6 months+ of hands‑on experience in data labeling, annotation, AI training/evaluation, content quality, or similar operational domains
• Basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and how high‑quality training data impacts model performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields, or 4+ years applicable experience in lieu of a degree
• Candidates must be based in the United States, Dubai, Ireland, United Kingdom, Japan, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Philippines, or Singapore; remote work is also possible
• Previous people leadership experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong track record of reviewing domain work, ensuring data quality, and improving operational processes
• Experience with performance management, coaching, training program development, and certification frameworks
• Proficiency in data analysis and associated tools; SQL a plus
• Experience managing mixed employment types or distributed teams
• Familiarity with Notion, Axiom, JIRA, Linear, or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving, and continuous improvement focus
