Spyro Soft in Germany is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable services using TypeScript/Node.js as the core stack. You will contribute to microservices in Golang and Python and collaborate directly with German-speaking clients to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.

Join a team delivering a digital twin platform for the energy transition, with PostgreSQL data models, REST and gRPC APIs, and deployments on Docker/Kubernetes in AWS.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience designing and developing scalable backend services and microservices.
• Fluent German (C1/C2) – mandatory, with the ability to communicate with business stakeholders.
• Experience working directly with clients, including requirements gathering and solution discussions.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-based environments.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design for scalable systems.
• Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and developing REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive solutions from concept to delivery.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Very good command of English.

Main responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript/Node.js as the primary technology stack
