Zusammenfassung

Tanso is seeking a Lead Engineer (f/m/x) to lead one of our engineering pods and own a core module of our platform. You will spend substantial time shipping code, architecting features, and collaborating with the Product Manager to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

You will guide the pod, mentor engineers, and help shape our technical standards while balancing speed and rigor in a fast-growing B2B SaaS environment.

Your role

We're looking for a Lead Engineer (f/m/x) to lead one of our engineering pods and take ownership of a core module of our platform.

As a Lead Engineer, you will lead a pod of 2-4 engineers and take end to end ownership of the modules your team is responsible for. Most of your time will be spent hands‑on: shipping code and architecting larger features. Beyond the code, you'll partner closely with your Product Manager to clarify product requirements, remove obstacles, and guide technical decisions, while also shaping our broader technical capabilities and engineering culture.

Our engineering culture combines high velocity (5-10 production deployments per day from our TypeScript monorepo) with true enterprise scale: hundreds of millions of rows in Postgres, and calculations certified against e.g. ISO 14064. Balancing speed with that level of rigor is one of the core challenges of this role.
