HelloFresh seeks a Lead Compensation Business Partner to own the design, implementation, and integration of global compensation programs. You will drive pay transparency, build strong business partnerships, and ensure rewards structures incentivize a diverse, global workforce.

Reporting to the Global Director of Compensation Strategy, you will shape our rewards strategy and defensible frameworks while aligning with HelloFresh’s pay philosophy and growth goals.

The role

HelloFresh is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Lead Compensation Business Partner to take the lead in developing, implementing, and successfully integrating our global compensation programs. We need a standout professional who can think outside conventional frameworks - utilizing deep insights, unlock pay transparency, and establishing strong business partnerships to drive exceptional results. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our rewards structures effectively incentivize and motivate our global workforce.

Reporting directly to the Global Director of Compensation Strategy, this high-impact, visible position is central to aligning our rewards initiatives with HelloFresh’s core pay philosophy, fostering our growth objectives, maintaining market competitiveness, and guaranteeing absolute pay compliance. You will play a foundational role in defining our global rewards strategy and structuring defensible compensation frameworks.

What you’ll do

• Strategic Business Partnership: Partner closely with HR teams and business executives across Tech and various global divisions, offering a macro perspective on compensation alongside specialist counsel on localized strategies and pay practices.
• Compensation Program Leadership: Spearhead ongoing and upcoming strategic rewards initiatives while contributing to the design and rollout of global programs, including pay equity assessments, annual cycles, job architecture, and key talent retention initiatives.
• Analytics and Insights: Deliver advanced data-driven modeling and analytics to guide compensation frameworks, ensuring alignment with external market trends and internal equity, particularly when structuring competitive candidate offers.
• Process and Tool Innovation: Design and optimize analytical tools, workflows, and dashboard metrics in alignment with global People teams to serve specific business line demands and ensure visibility for leadership and management.
• Market Intelligence: Formulate and conduct detailed benchmarking studies to monitor market movements, bridge data deficits, and offer validated recommendations to the business.
• Advisory & Enablement: Act as the primary subject matter authority for global rewards frameworks. Create and deliver clear communication materials to educate, enable, and support HR colleagues, line managers, and general employees.

What you’ll bring

• Professional Experience: 8+ years of dedicated compensation experience, preferably supporting global technology sectors or corporate functions within a fast-moving international ecosystem.
• Influence & Strategy: A clear passion for the compensation space coupled with a strategic viewpoint and a demonstrated history of influencing, guiding, and counseling HRBPs and senior corporate executives.
• Analytical Capabilities: Superior analytical capacity with specialized experience handling complex datasets and building robust financial models (advanced mastery of Google Sheets or Excel is required).
• Program Development: Proven experience conceptualizing and introducing broad compensation programs within rapidly shifting business models, balancing attractive employee rewards with corporate fiscal boundaries.
• Adaptability: Highly capable of steering through ambiguity and complex organizational frameworks, with a natural agility to adapt to shifting business demands.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication alongside top-tier stakeholder management capabilities.
