softgarden e-recruiting gmbh is seeking a Lead Business Analytics (m/f/d) to turn data into better business decisions. You will lead the BI analytics team and shape how we measure success with executive dashboards and KPI frameworks in Power BI.

You will build and optimize data pipelines, contribute to the Microsoft Fabric data platform, and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance and Operations to enable strategic decisions and data-driven growth.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, BI, Controlling, FP&A or similar analytical role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI: dashboard development, data modelling and stakeholder reporting.
• Experience with SQL, data pipelines and modern data warehouse environments.
• Experience leading projects, initiatives, or small teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making at different levels of the organization.

At softgarden, we're looking for a Lead Business Analytics (m/f/d) who combines analytical excellence with leadership skills. You'll help shape how we measure success, uncover opportunities, and provide the insights that guide strategic decisions across the business.

This is not a pure management role. We're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, building solutions, and leading by example.

What you'll do:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Analytics team.
• Own and continuously improve executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and reporting structures in Power BI.
• Support the development of our Microsoft Fabric data platform by integrating new business data sources and improving data pipelines.
• Conduct business analyses to identify trends, risks, growth opportunities, and operational improvements.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Define business requirements for BI and data projects and ensure high data quality standards across reporting environments.
• Identify opportunities for automation and AI-supported analytics to improve reporting efficiency and business impact.

What you bring along

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Controlling, FP&A, or a comparable analytical role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling, and stakeholder reporting/communication.
• Experience working with SQL, data pipelines, and modern data warehouse environments.
• Experience leading projects, initiatives, or small teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making at different organizational levels.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in a SaaS environment, Microsoft Fabric, Python, AI-driven analytics, or Tableau-to-Power-BI migrations is a strong plus.
