Job summary

XALT Business Consulting GmbH in Leipzig seeks a Lead Atlassian Consultant to drive Jira and Confluence deployments, build Confluence intranets, and design Jira workflows. You will advise on agile collaboration and ITSM while coordinating cross‑functional teams across the DACH region.

With a track record of 5+ years in Atlassian projects and strong German/English communication, you will guide customers, own project delivery, and ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in (business) informatics, business administration or similar.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on Atlassian experience (Jira/Confluence).
• 5+ years of project experience with customers in the DACH region.
• Strong quality focus, independence and customer service orientation.
• Fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead Atlassian projects and guide customers to success.
• Coordinate internal development teams to extend Atlassian tools.
• Design Jira workflows and build Confluence intranets (e.g., Linchpin).
• Advise customers on agile collaboration, ITSM or service management.
• Provide remote advisory for US customers and support in adopting Atlassian tools.

What to expect

A team of motivated Atlassian consultants that conquers the Atlassian world together with you.

You recommend the right Atlassian products to our customers and integrate them into existing infrastructure.

You analyse our customers' requirements and business processes and find opportunities to bring Atlassian tools in.

You build collaborative intranets on top of Confluence – our Linchpin intranet project, for example.

You build workflows in Jira to digitise business processes.

You steer projects and coordinate our internal development team to extend the Atlassian tools, for instance with apps and macros.

What you bring

You have a degree in (business) informatics, business administration or similar, or comparable training.

You have at least 5 years of hands‑on experience with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.

You have gathered at least 5 years of project experience with customers in the DACH region.

You are eager to understand and improve our customers' processes and systems; service and customer focus is a given for you.

You have a strong sense of quality, show commitment and work independently.

Your communication skills and your enjoyment of teamwork set you apart.

You speak fluent German and English.
