Your tasks
- Independent planning and execution of bioanalytical method developments and validations (especially ligand binding assays, as well as cell-based assays) for the determination of drug concentration or antibodies against the drug in different matrices
- Analysis of clinical and preclinical matrix samples
- Optimization and establishment of laboratory-associated processes in compliance with applicable guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Creation and maintenance of GLP and guideline-compliant documentation
- Organization of general laboratory procedures, including equipment and capacity planning
- Troubleshooting assay development and developing and presenting solution strategies in group meetings
- Automation of analytical methods on laboratory robots (e.g. Tecan, Hamilton)
Your profile
- Degree in natural sciences in the fields of biochemistry, chemistry, biotechnology or similar disciplines
- Experience in the development and establishment of bioanalytical methods (e.g. ELISA, ECL, cell-based assays) for the quantitative or qualitative determination of proteins in biological matrices for regulated tests
- Experience in laboratory automation, especially with liquid handling robots, is desirable
- Comprehensive protein biochemical and bioanalytical knowledge
- Ability to critically scrutinize existing methods and specifications and develop own solutions
- Experience with bioanalytically relevant IT systems, such as LIMS and ELN
- Knowledge of the GxP principles is desirable
- Good written and spoken English skills
