Would you like to help develop IAV’s business and strengthen ties with our most important customer? Then sales is the right place for you! By expanding your network of decision-makers at customer level, you will bring our customer IAV and our offering closer together. Your work will contribute to defining and implementing our customer strategy and defining our sales targets based on customer needs and sales opportunities. Your success will ensure IAV’s high competitiveness and give our technology-driven employees a perspective!

Your Tasks:
  • You are responsible for the customer’s account strategy.
  • You establish contacts across multiple levels and areas of the customer’s organization.
  • You lead interdisciplinary bid teams to win large projects.
  • You define measures to increase sales and competitiveness.
  • You determine competitive bid prices and negotiate large bids (target pricing).
  • You will be part of the VW Group sales team and leverage cross-functional synergies from collaboration with other key and account managers within the brand and the Group.
  • You will work out IAV’s USP together with the technology divisions and analyze and realize new business opportunities from AI to cylinder deactivation.
Necessary Skills:
  • Completed degree in natural sciences, engineering, or economics, ideally but not necessarily with a doctorate
  • Several years of experience in the acquisition of development services
  • Knowledge of VW processes and corporate culture
  • Good contacts within the VW organization
  • Curiosity, enjoyment of relationship management, and change
  • Very good German and English skills (at least C1 level)
