Job Description

We are looking for a Kanban Coach & Flow Manager (m/f/d) who is driven by agility and lean values and principles. Is “stop starting and start finishing” your daily mantra? • Change Management: You drive change and transformation within the organization
• Coaching and Transparency: You coach teams in order to ensure delivery and create and support transparency within teams
• Innovative Discussion: You discuss ideas and find new ways of working
• Process Optimization: You continuously measure and improve processes to e.g. reduce cycle time and identify bottlenecks
• Departmental Alignment: You ensure the alignment between different departments to decrease the feedback cycle time
• Collaborative Focus: You work alongside Product Managers, leaders and other stakeholders to ensure that the work is flowing and the focus is on the right things at the right time

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Kanban Method Experience: You know that Kanban is more than a board. You have successfully guided organizational change through the lens of the KMM
• Methodology Proficiency: You have formal training from the Kanban University - mid to advanced level like KSI, KMM, or KCP. Desirably, you understand Flight Levels, Theory of Constraints and how to translate lean concepts to knowledge work
• Delivery-oriented mindset: You can act as delivery/project manager when required, supporting the teams and departments to deliver their cross-team initiatives smoothly. You use your observations from the trenches to feed back your KMM assessments

In addition to the above qualifications, the following skills are desirable:

• Flexibility in Execution: You are solid on the WHY and WHAT while being flexible on HOW
• Respectful Change Agent: You respect without judgements the current process and at the same time you pursue evolutionary change
• Influential Communication: You are a strong communicator and coach who can influence different layers on the organization by asking the right questions
• Technical Expertise: You have a well-founded technical knowledge and a data-driven approach for working process improvement
• Tooling: You are capable of maintaining processes and workflows in Jira and act as an Admin for this tool
• Continuous Learning: You are a lifelong learner and desirably, an active member of the Kanban community

First 6 Months

In your first 6 months, you will:

• Team Insight: Develop a deep understanding of our teams
• Product Familiarity: Become familiar with EGYM products and the ecosystem
• Role Clarity: Have a good understanding of the roles of the different teams in the software engineering department
• Respected Presence: Be a known and well-respected member of the product management team and the software engineering department
