Zusammenfassung

Ascory Bank AG is seeking a (Junior) Credit & Portfolio Analyst to gain deep insights into credit processes within a dynamic team. You will collaborate across departments on projects in FinTech and the energy transition.

You will review and monitor credits, handle monthly/quarterly reports, and support process improvements. Strong Excel and fluent German/English are required; a structured, reliable, analytical mindset is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in economics or a comparable subject area.
• Ideally some initial experience in banking through placements or part-time student roles.
• Good Excel skills are desirable.
• Excellent communication in German and very good English, both spoken and written.
• Independent and structured approach with strong analytical skills and reliability.

• Reviewing and processing ratings and reviews from existing customers, and handling the associated application process.
• Credit monitoring (deposits, withdrawals, exposure, and collateral).
• Monitoring and ongoing refinement of the credit process.
• Administration and coordination of day-to-day operations, handling inquiries via the credit inbox.
• Processing and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
• Supporting cross-department projects within the department and beyond.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviewing and processing ratings and reviews from existing customers, as well as handling the associated application process
• Credit monitoring (including monitoring of deposits and withdrawals, exposure monitoring, and collateral monitoring)
• Monitoring and ongoing refinement of the credit process
• Administration and coordination of day-to-day operations, as well as handling incoming enquiries via the credit inbox
• Processing and preparation of monthly and quarterly reports
• Supporting project work within the department and across departments on relevant projects

YOUR PROFILE:

• A degree in economics or a comparable subject area
• Ideally, some initial experience in the banking sector gained through work placements or part-time student roles
• Good Excel skills are desirable
• A strong willingness to learn and motivation to familiarise yourself with the role and to engage with regulatory frameworks (including EBA guidelines, CRR, MaRisk and KWG)
• Excellent communication skills in German and very good English, both spoken and written
• An independent and structured approach to work, strong analytical skills and reliability
