Job summary

Circus, headquartered in Munich, is scaling its robotics-driven food tech. You will own the IT for international deployments, preparing devices, configuring networks, and working with providers to get units live and secure.

You will run IT operations for teams in Munich, Berlin and Hamburg, keeping ISO 27001 audit-ready and shaping how deployments scale toward cloud and infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT operations, systems administration or IT support.
• VPN configuration and network troubleshooting, including at remote sites.
• MDM platforms experience (Kandji, Intune) and identity providers (Google Workspace, MS365, Okta).
• Strong prioritisation skills and ability to work independently across multiple locations.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the IT side of international deployments, preparing devices and configuring networks.
• Troubleshoot on-site network hardware and resolve connectivity issues at deployment sites.
• Manage ISPs and hardware vendors for delivery, installation and support in each market.
• Track deployed devices and network hardware for accurate asset registers as units move locations.
• Build and document repeatable setup processes to accelerate deployments.
• Manage cloud access and deliver Infrastructure-as-Code changes for our platform.
• Run IT operations for our teams in Munich, Berlin and Hamburg, prioritising across locations.
• Own the identity, device and hardware lifecycle, including provisioning and retrieval.
• Oversee meeting-room AV, SaaS licenses, invoices and vendor coordination.
• Keep SIEM, EDR and IdP logs monitored and audit-ready for ISO 27001.

About the Role

As we scale deployments of our robotic units internationally, every unit needs to be connected, secure and running from day one, wherever it operates.
You’ll own the IT side of these deployments: preparing devices, configuring networks, and working with providers and vendors to get units live and keep them running.
Alongside that, you’ll run IT operations for our teams in Munich, Berlin and Hamburg and help keep us ISO 27001 audit-ready. You’ll set priorities, make decisions and shape how our deployment and IT operations scale, with a clear path into cloud and infrastructure work.

Your Daily Business

Own the IT side of international deployments

• Prepare and configure Android devices for every unit we deploy.
• Set up VPN and network configuration for units across markets.
• Troubleshoot on-site network hardware and resolve connectivity issues at deployment sites.
• Manage ISPs and hardware vendors on delivery, installation and support in each market.
• Track deployed devices and network hardware so the asset register stays accurate as units move between locations.
• Build and document repeatable setup processes so each new deployment goes live faster.
• Manage cloud access and deliver Infrastructure-as-Code changes for our platform.

Run IT operations for our teams

• Own the IT and cloud/platform request pipeline: resolve requests independently and prioritise across teams and locations.
• Run the identity, device and hardware lifecycle, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access, purchasing and retrieval.
• Manage meeting-room AV and conferencing, SaaS licenses, invoices and vendor coordination.

Keep us secure and audit-ready

• Own maintenance and log monitoring across SIEM, EDR and IdP, and act on issues early.
• Own evidence collection for our ISO 27001 certification: documentation, logs and screenshots.

Base Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT operations, systems administration or IT support
• Confidence with VPN configuration and network troubleshooting, including at remote sites
• Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (e.g. Kandji, Intune) and identity providers (e.g. Google Workspace, MS365, Okta)
• Strong prioritisation skills and the judgement to work independently across multiple locations
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hardware or IoT deployments in the field
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
• Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience, ideally with Terraform
