Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications. You will build front-end features using Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, and implement back-end services, APIs, and data integrations.

You will own tasks from requirements through deployment, investigate issues, and contribute to AI-enabled projects using LLM APIs, embeddings, and related technologies, while collaborating across agile teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
• Approximately 1–2 years of software development experience.
• Internships, projects, or open-source work may be considered.
• Hands-on experience building functional software applications.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with React/Next.js or similar framework.
• Understanding of both front-end and back-end development and REST APIs.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain modern full-stack web applications.
• Develop front-end applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop back-end services, APIs, business logic, and integrations using Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar technologies.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate applications with databases, cloud services, and external systems.
• Own assigned development tasks from requirements through implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, develop solutions, and escalate as needed.
• Develop and prototype AI-enabled applications using LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, AI agents, and related technologies.
• Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and appropriate data models.
• Build, package, and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services.
• Deploy and support applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Use Git and GitHub for source control, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, tested, and well-documented code.
• Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, integrations, configurations, and deployment processes.
• Communicate technical concepts, implementation approaches, issues, and recommendations to technical and non-technical team members.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI, cloud, web development, DevOps, and open-source technologies.
• Follow company cybersecurity, data protection, secure development, and responsible AI requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university – REQUIRED
• Approximately 1–2 years of software development experience
• Relevant internships, substantive academic/capstone projects, research, independent development, or open-source contributions may be considered
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building functional software applications
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript and familiarity with React, Next.js, or a comparable modern web framework
• Understanding of both front-end and back-end application development
• Programming experience with an additional language such as Python, Java, or C#
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, databases, application integrations, and modern web architecture
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Docker, cloud computing, CI/CD, and application deployment concepts
• Foundational understanding of AI, generative AI, or large language model technologies
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to work independently on defined assignments while collaborating effectively within a development team
• Ability to learn new technologies, frameworks, APIs, and development tools quickly
