Almedia in Berlin is hiring a Junior Engineer (AI) to help accelerate our data-driven growth. You will build and maintain data automation workflows and develop agents that handle repeatable tasks end to end.

You'll work across multiple data sources, collaborating with stakeholders to identify bottlenecks and implement AI-powered improvements. We value hands-on AI experience, solid coding fundamentals, and a growth mindset, with equity for Berlin-based employees.

About the Role

What You’ll Do

• Debug and maintain existing data automations
• Build agents that handle repeatable data tasks end to end
• Work across multiple data sources and systems, making sense of fragmented data
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand where manual data work is slowing them down, and build solutions

Must-Haves

• Hands‑on experience building with AI agents or LLM tools
• Solid coding fundamentals
• A business mindset: interest in how the work connects to what the company needs, not just the technical build
• Curiosity and a strong learning mindset, especially around AI tools and trends

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Python or Node.js in a production or personal-project setting
• Experience with automation/orchestration tools such as n8n
• Exposure to SQL or working with structured data
