Job summary

JD Ross Energy's partner in Germany seeks a High Voltage Cable Jointer to support major HV projects across Europe. You will install and commission HV cables and work with XLPE joints up to 500/550 kV, using cutting-edge equipment.

The role includes on-site supervision, coordinating installation activities, and potential progression to manage your own project sites after onboarding. Candidates should have 110 kV+ jointer experience, safety focus, travel readiness, and a valid driving licence;

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in electrical or metalworking.
• Jointer experience from 110kV and above.
• Solid knowledge of electrical and construction site safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Valid driving licence.
• Fluent in German or English.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission high-voltage cables in Germany and internationally.
• Assemble and install XLPE cable joints and terminations up to 500/550 kV.
• Work with the latest installation methods and state-of-the-art equipment.
• Supervise and coordinate installation activities on site.
• Support experienced installation technicians on major construction projects.
• Future opportunity to take responsibility for your own project sites following the training and onboarding period.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical and construction site safety requirements.

Following a recent investment of more than €100 million to support future growth, research, and development, the company has secured three major projects in Germany, providing a strong pipeline of work for the next 10 years.

As a result, they are now looking for a High Voltage Cable Jointers (Monteur) to join their growing team.

The Role

You will be involved in the installation and commissioning of some of Europe's most significant high-voltage cable infrastructure projects, working with cutting-edge technology and industry-leading equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installation of high-voltage power cables in Germany and internationally
• Assembly and installation of XLPE cable accessories (joints and terminations) up to 500/550 kV
• Working with the latest installation methods and state-of-the-art equipment
• Supervision and coordination of installation activities on site
• Supporting experienced installation technicians on major construction projects
• Future opportunity to take responsibility for your own project sites following the training and onboarding period
• Ensuring compliance with all electrical and construction site safety requirements

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in an electrical or metalworking trade
• Jointer experience from 110KV and above
• Sound understanding of electrical and construction site safety regulations
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Valid driving licence
• Fluent in German or English
