A leading robotics firm in Munich is seeking an IT Systems Engineer / Administrator to manage and enhance their M365 environment. You will be responsible for configuring Microsoft Defender, automating processes using PowerShell, and ensuring system health. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and has completed an IT apprenticeship or relevant degree, with at least 3 years of M365 administration experience. Responsibilities

• You administer, maintain, and improve our M365 environment (Intune, Entra ID, Purview, Azure).
• You configure and manage Microsoft Defender, including alerts, policies, and integrations.
• You apply and optimise Purview features such as information protection, labelling, retention, and DLP.
• You automate tasks and processes using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps, in areas such as onboarding workflows, license management, and runbook operations.
• You monitor and enhance service health, alerts, and change notifications across M365.
• You manage and support Windows Server environments, including Active Directory.
• You apply your understanding of computer networks, information security practices such as ISO 27001, Linux user experience, and remediation or change‑management coordination to support broader IT and security initiatives.
• You collaborate with IT and security teams on system improvements.

Requirements

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a university degree in computer science (or comparable experience).
• You can handle topics autonomously while turning challenges into learning opportunities.
• You are fluent in English, spoken and written.
• You are experienced with at least 3 years of hands‑on work in:
  • M365 administration (Intune, Entra ID, Purview, Azure)
  • PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Purview information protection, data lifecycle, and DLP
  • Service health monitoring and audit/compliance reporting
• Nice‑to‑have skills:
  • Experience with computer networks
  • Familiarity with information security practices, especially ISO 27001
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Linux user‑level experience
