We are seeking a dedicated IT System Administrator to join our on‑site team in Berlin, Germany. In this role, you will manage and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and security compliance. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing office, supporting the backbone of our technological environment.

This is a hybrid position with three days per week in our Berlin office (at Alexanderplatz).

What You Will Do
  • Manage user accounts and rights according to IT security policies and standards
  • Run network cabling, switching, and direct contractors as needed
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot computer hardware and software
  • Perform maintenance activities (e.g. backups, licenses, etc)
  • Respond to user queries in a timely manner and identify, research, and resolve problems
  • Document current processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Order IT equipment and manage accurate inventories
  • Vendor management for third‑party services
  • Work closely with HR to ensure a smooth On‑ and Offboarding process.
  • Assist in managing the firewalls and office infrastructure
What You Will Bring
  • Completed apprenticeship “Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration” or similar
  • 1‑3 years of job‑related technical support experience in a corporate IT environment
  • Technical understanding of IT hardware and software (Mac, Windows, and Linux)
  • Experience with automated deployment for Mac and Windows (MS Intune or JAMF)
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, Google Workspace, Slack administration
  • Foundational knowledge of networking‑DHCP, Gateways, TCP / IP, and how it relates to desktop troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Maria DB, etc.) and web debugging tools (e.g. Charles / Wireshark / Chrome DevTools)
  • Jira / Confluence work experience
  • Problem‑solving approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as a part of a global team and independently
  • Fluent written and spoken English
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, etc.)
