Optimus Search is delighted to be working with an exciting SaaS company that has been on the market for over 25 years. The company has grown globally, employs over 600 people and can now boast an impressive Kununu rating of 4.6! Our client is launching a brand new product and is looking for an experienced IT System Administrator with in-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft Azure environments to join our growing IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows Server systems, including patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Manage and deploy Azure cloud services, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems.
• Implement and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy settings.
• Monitor and enhance system security, including firewalls, anti-virus, and data protection protocols.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and disaster recovery processes are well-established and regularly tested.
• Provide technical support for end users and work on escalated issues to resolve them efficiently.

Key Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Windows Server Administration (Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2019/2022).
• Proficiency in Virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs).
• Certification in Microsoft Azure (AZ-104 or AZ-500) and Microsoft Server Technologies is a plus.
