SENSORY-MINDS GMBH seeks a System Administrator to coordinate on-site IT operations in the Frankfurt/Offenbach area and support a ~100-person team in all IT matters.

You will manage device provisioning, IAM, Docker-based workflows, and the Apple/macOS/Linux environments. A strong IT security mindset and willingness to learn are essential for this dynamic role.

Qualifikationen

• Completed IT vocational training or degree in a related field.
• Strong practical experience administering complex IT environments.
• Passion for Apple systems and networks; hands-on Apple experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and strong problem-solving mindset.
• German and English communication at work is essential.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate on-site IT operations in the Frankfurt/Offenbach area.
• Provide IT support and guidance to a team of ~100 users.
• Manage device provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, IAM, SaaS stack, monitoring, and procurement.
• Automate and optimize IT processes and workflows.
• Architect and deploy MDM solutions; administer macOS and Linux environments, with Docker focus.
• Support engineering by provisioning pre-production and staging environments for Docker-based workflows.
• Oversee internal network and server infrastructure, including firewall, Wi-Fi, switches, routing, VLANs, backups, and DR.
• Coordinate with service providers and support ISMS management alongside the CISO.
• Work three days per week on-site with the team to maintain IT infrastructure.

What will your job be?

• Coordinate on-site operations in the Frankfurt/Offenbach area


• Support and advise the team (approx. 100 people) in all IT-related matters together with your colleagues


• Manage the daily business (Device management, Provisioning, On-/Offboarding, Identity and Access Management (IAM), SaaS Stack Management, Monitoring & Documentation, Procurement)


• Work on automation and optimization of new and existing IT processes


• Architect and deploy MDM solutions in Apple client environment


• Administer macOS (employee client) and Linux environments (internal tools) with a focus on Docker


• Support our engineering teams by provisioning and optimizing pre-production and staging environments, ensuring seamless Docker-based workflows and consistent local development setups


• Manage internal network and server infrastructure including Firewall, high density WiFi, switching, routing, VLAN, Backup & Disaster Recovery


• Collaboration and management of service providers (hosting, telecommunications, tooling)


• Assisting the CISO with the IT-related management of the ISMS


• As a System Administrator, you'll work closely with the team from our office three days per week to support our IT infrastructure and collaborate on day-to-day operations.

What you bring:

• You have completed vocational training in the IT field, a degree in computer science / business informatics or another comparable qualification.


• You have experience in administering complex IT environments and are passionate about Apple systems and networks — hands-on Apple experience is a plus, but a strong interest and willingness to learn are just as important to us.


• You value personal connection and thrive on spending three days a week on-site, fostering teamwork and a great office atmosphere.


• Communicating in German and English is no problem for you.


• As a generalist, you are the escalation point for complex technical problems and findsustainable solutions instead of just handing out \"band-aids\"


• You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and keep a cool head even during a \"system down\".


• A proactive mindset and the ability to independently familiarize yourself with new technical subjects are key to your way of working.


• You have a strong mindset for IT security and naturally integrate security best practices into your day-to-day operations.


• While not required, a basic understanding of ISMS (ISO 27001) is a plus.
