Sowelo Consulting in Germany seeks an IT Support Team Leader to join their Managed Service division in the Düsseldorf/Cologne area. This onsite/hybrid leadership role guides local project teams, enforces IT security, and oversees end-user and infrastructure rollouts.

You will collaborate with global engineering teams, authorities, and vendors, manage in-country assets, track progress with reporting tools, and drive KPIs.

Qualifikationen

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in IT leadership, project coordination, or senior technical support.
• Proven ability to manage project teams, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely completion.
• Experience maintaining project tracking tools, meeting client KPIs, and enforcing IT security policies.
• Strong understanding of country-level asset management, infrastructure deployment, and vendor coordination.
• Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level, both spoken and written).

Our client is seeking an IT Support Team Leader to join their Managed Service division. In this hands‑on technical leadership role, you will guide local project teams, enforce strict IT security compliance, manage in‑country IT assets, and oversee end‑user and infrastructure rollouts. You will work closely with global engineering teams, local authorities, and third‑party vendors to drive project goals and achieve key performance indicators.

It is an Onsite / Hybrid Technical Leadership role.

Key responsibilities:

To be a good fit for the IT Support Team Leader role, you will have:

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in IT leadership, project coordination, or senior technical support.
• Proven ability to manage project teams, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Experience maintaining project tracking tools, meeting client KPIs, and enforcing IT security policies.
• Strong understanding of country‑level asset management, infrastructure deployment, and vendor coordination.
• Ability to align with global cross‑functional teams, external providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level, both spoken and written).

• Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) model
• Familiarity with local regulatory reporting and authority compliance in Germany
• Ability to translate complex project metrics into clear documentation for non‑technical leadership
