The position is hybrid/onsite in the Düsseldorf and Cologne area, offering engagement with regional leadership and modern IT infrastructure projects. Fluent German and English (B2) are required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience handling L2+ tickets within enterprise ITSM under SLA guidance.

• Fluent German and English (min B2) both spoken and written.

We are seeking for one of our Clients an IT Specialist to join their dedicated service delivery team. In this hands-on role, the IT Specialist will ensure high-quality technical support, manage local IT assets, and assist regional leadership in driving infrastructure projects. This position involves working directly with global engineering teams and external vendors to resolve advanced incidents and execute technical rollouts.

It is a hybrid IT Support and Infrastructure role.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring top-tier end-user satisfaction while consistently meeting defined SLA metrics
• Providing L2+ support for workstations, mobile devices, iPads, printers, and standard software
• Managing advanced tickets within the ITSM system (logging, monitoring, diagnosing, escalating, and resolving)
• Assisting the Regional IT Leader with local infrastructure tasks and driving end-user implementations
• Managing local IT assets, including inventory control and IT equipment warehouse supervision
• Updating tracking tools, authoring technical documentation, and enforcing IT security compliance
• Partnering with international support teams and third-party vendors on joint projects and outage tracking

To be a good fit for the IT Specialist role, you will have:

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in IT support, field engineering, or systems administration within a corporate or Managed Services environment.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting hardware (laptops, mobile devices), operating systems, and core software.
• Demonstrated track record of handling L2+ tickets within enterprise ITSM systems under strict SLA guidelines.
• Solid understanding of IT asset management, local infrastructure workflows, and security standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional global teams and third-party service providers.
• Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level, both spoken and written).

Nice to have:

• Prior experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
• Familiarity with coordinating regional or cross-border IT infrastructure initiatives
• Strong ability to translate complex technical issues into clear documentation for end users
