The Berlin fire department was founded in 1851, making it the oldest professional fire department in Germany. With around 5,500 employees and 35 professional fire stations, it is also the largest professional fire department in Germany. Together with the approximately 1,500 members of Berlin\'s 59 volunteer fire departments, the employees of the Berlin Fire Department do their best to protect the city and its people every day.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementation and monitoring of software distribution on client computers
• Ensuring the technical functionality and compatibility of the applications provided
• Creation, testing and maintenance of installation packages
• Implementation of user and rights management, error analysis and implementation of customizations and functional enhancements
• Analysis and processing of complex IT problems as part of 3rd level support

Qualifications

You bring with you :

• Completed training in a recognized IT profession with at least 5 years of professional experience or
• Bachelor\'s degree in information technology (preferably business informatics) with several years of professional experience in the IT environment

Required experience in the following areas :

• system design
• Change and release management

Desirable experience in the following areas :

• Specialized applications : Microsoft based operating systems, software distribution, terminal services, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure AD
• Conceptual work and process management
• Application with the BSI basic protection standards
• Requirements management and process optimization
