KYOCERA AVX Components Corporation is seeking an IT Security professional to manage vulnerability management across Europe. The role focuses on operating security tools, coordinating changes with partners, and maintaining Windows-based security across sites.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, strong English, and readiness to travel 30% across Europe. Join our Global IT Operations Team to enhance security and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven IT security experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong Windows, antivirus, endpoint security, networks and servers.
• Experience with patching, vulnerability and user management, deployment, backups, and automation tools.
• ITIL service management knowledge plus project management experience.
• Good English communication; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel ~30% across Europe.

Aufgaben

• Manage and improve vulnerability management across European locations.
• Operate security and automation tools to identify, prioritize, track, and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Plan and coordinate security-related changes with internal partners to ensure business continuity.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor IT systems, resolving or escalating issues.
• Implement and troubleshoot security-related changes on Windows clients and servers.
• Ensure corporate IT security standards and policies are implemented locally.
• Collaborate with Global and Local IT teams to improve security and reduce risks.
• Manage related projects, documentation, and stakeholder communication within the Global IT Operations Team.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience


• Experience: Proven experience in IT security or a comparable role, ideally within a manufacturing environment


• Technical Expertise: Strong hands‑on knowledge of Windows environments, enterprise anti‑virus and endpoint security solutions, as well as of networks and servers


• IT Tools & Security: Experience with patch, vulnerability and user management, software deployment, Windows PC backup solutions, and related automation tools


• ITIL & Project Management: Knowledge of ITIL Service Management and process execution, combined with project management experience


• Language Skills: Good English communication skills (written and spoken), German is a plus


• Willingness To Travel: Approx. 30% to locations across Europe

• Collaborate with Global and Local IT teams and business stakeholders and proactively identify opportunities to improve security and reduce risks


• Manage related projects, documentation, administrative tasks, and stakeholder communication as part of our international Global IT Operations Team
