Field of activity

The "IT Operations" department in Würzburg operates and monitors the entire IT infrastructure and all IT processes of the German Pension Insurance Data Center (DSRV) as well as central services for all pension insurance institutions.
The project manager acts as an interface between the specialist departments, development and operational IT operations. Furthermore, working and project groups at tactical and operational levels in IT operations are to be coordinated and supported.

Your tasks

• Leading and managing technical projects in IT operations (architecture, infrastructure and applications)
• Coordinating and agreeing technical details with the respective technical experts
• Responsible for resource and project planning according to agile and classic methods
• Designing and moderating meetings, workshops and smaller events

Your profile

• Completed higher education (Bachelor/Diploma FH) in the IT field or completed vocational training in the IT field or a comparable qualification (e.g. IT-specific qualification) or comparable practical experience in the IT field
• Several years of recent professional experience in IT project work
• Sound knowledge of the relevant management tools and project management
• A high level of communication, coordination and management skills
• Knowledge of IT operations via architecture, infrastructure and applications is desirable
• Enjoyment and creativity in participating in change processes as well as innovation skills round off your profile
