Our IT Centre EMEA counts 3 departments: IT Planning (PLAN), IT Development (BUILD) and IT Infrastructure / Operations (RUN). Within our IT Development department, we have 2 competence centres: one in Madrid and one in Oostkamp.

You will become part of IT Development in Oostkamp.

The IT Development department in Belgium consists of 20 internal colleagues strengthened with external consultants and an offshore team. The group is young and dynamic with a good team spirit and open communication structure. We implement innovative IT solutions for our 12000+ Daikin colleagues all over Europe & Middle East.

Function

We are looking for an enthusiastic (medior / senior) IT Functional Analyst and Project Manager to structure, improve and promote our Supply Chain Management & Planning (SCP) processes in our EMEA region.

After an intensive introduction and training period, your main tasks will be:

• Leading different (international) projects within your area of expertise and cross-module; this with focus on standardization, uniformization and innovation.
• Coordinate, analyse & implement improvement requests in your area of expertise in close cooperation with your business peers, internal IT colleagues, implementation partners and our offshore team to capture the business requirements and translate this into a standard future-proof IT solution. Although we hand-over live projects to our RUN team, assistance in 3rd line IT support is sometimes required.
• You will follow and explore the future roadmap on IT solutions within the SCM domain. This includes studying, planning and driving innovation (e.g. S / 4HANA, SAS, AI, IBP analytic stories…) and bring our strategy into reality.
• Today in Daikin, we mainly use :

• Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Demand consolidation Target Stock planning Requirement planning
• Production Planning
• Supply Network planning (SNP): Allocation Planning, Supply Distribution Planning for optimal distribution planning between factories and European warehouses to align stock in each warehouse towards 24h delivery in Europe
• Transport Planning (TLB) to ensure cost-efficient and optimal truck loading
• G-ATP for Available-To-Promise and backorder processing

At the moment, we are busy with a Supply Chain Planning roadmap to replace SAP APO with SAP IBP and S / 4HANA advanced ATP.

We see you as a main driver to standardize and improve our SCM processes within an EMEA context.

Profile

• You have a master degree as economist, engineer, computer scientist or equal.
• You have 3+ years of experience in a similar IT or business environment.
• You have an analytical & innovative spirit and interest in our company’s need to grow & accelerate.
• You are pragmatic and have a strong interest in recent IT evolutions and technologies.
• You have a solution oriented mind-set and a drive to continuously improve your area.
• You have the necessary self-discipline to make and follow up a planning.
• You are a team player and try to establish and keep a good relationship with both your IT and business colleagues.
• You have good communication skills and are not afraid to present to groups.
• You are prepared to occasionally travel to Daikin group companies in EMEA.
• You have a very good knowledge of English and Dutch.
