Job summary

Energy Market Solutions GmbH, a company of ENTEGA AG and HEAG AG, is seeking a senior IT strategy and architecture lead in Berlin. You will coordinate IT strategy with the Executive Board, own critical systems, and drive AI initiatives and in-house development.

You will oversee architecture, manage IT projects, and guide external partners while communicating across IT and business units to enable modernization in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in a system, service or product owner role, ideally with responsibility for in-house IT developments and AI projects.
• Experience in developing IT architectures, IT strategies and managing IT projects, preferably in the energy sector.
• In-depth knowledge of current IT technologies such as cloud, data analytics, AI, security and microservices.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the IT strategy process between the IT organization, business units and the Executive Board.
• Responsible for the continued development and documentation of the IT architecture, and for supporting and managing IT projects from planning through to successful implementation.
• Own key IT systems, such as ERP, CRM and other core applications, as well as in-house IT developments and AI applications.

EMS works closely with new players in the energy sector from a wide range of industries, enabling the areas of electricity, heating and mobility to grow together through intelligent electricity products and energy market solutions.
