Zusammenfassung

We are seeking a candidate to join a world-class life sciences leader at the Darmstadt site to ensure instruments are ready for connectivity and testing. The role focuses on onboarding lab instruments to a digital data platform and coordinating IT/OT readiness, including firewall approvals and DPI registration.

Responsibilities include deploying connectors/agents on instrument PCs, linking data sources, and collaborating with lab owners and IT contacts to resolve blockers and support end-to-end

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, IT, Instrumentation or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Proven IT and OT field engineering experience, ideally in lab environments.
• Strong troubleshooting under time constraints and structured documentation skills.

3-month rolling contract

Responsibilities / Role

In this role you will ensure instruments are ready for connectivity and testing. Key tasks include:

• Prepare and validate lab instruments for onboarding to a digital data platform.
• Verify PC/server connectivity, coordinate firewall rule approvals, and perform DPI registration.
• Deploy connectors/agents on instrument PCs and link data sources.
• Liaise with lab owners and IT contacts, resolve readiness blockers, and support end-to-end testing.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Engineering, IT, Instrumentation or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Proven IT and OT field engineering experience, ideally in lab environments.
• Strong troubleshooting under time constraints and structured documentation skills.

Additional Skills

• Solid knowledge of network fundamentals (firewalls, VLANs, ports).
• Experience with instrument connectivity to enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in handling LAN/WAN troubleshooting in live lab environments.
• Exposure to TetraScience TDP, StoreFlex, or similar platforms.
• Experience in pharma / life sciences labs (GxP or non-GxP).
• Familiarity with CDS or file-based scientific instrument.
