IT Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician at Micron, you will play a crucial role in supporting and troubleshooting a variety of IT assets. Your expertise will ensure that our users have a seamless experience with their devices and software, contributing to our world‑class standards. Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and update PCs and portable devices
• Maintain orderly IT rooms and install equipment into data center cabinets
• Provide support for client software, including Office 365 and Teams
• Install and upgrade software applications
• Open and coordinate tickets with remote IT support groups
• Qualify service requests and route them to the appropriate resolution teams
• Develop automations leveraging AI to improve task efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer science, or a similar field
• Several years of experience in Service Desk or Field Services technician positions
• Understanding and experience with the Windows environment (OS, SCCM, AD, O365, etc.)
• Business‑level English, intermediate German
• Valid German driving licence

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer science, or a similar area
• Over 5 years of experience in Service Desk or Field Services technician positions
• Experience working in electronics laboratories
• Solid understanding of the Windows environment and Linux
• Basic knowledge of network administration
• Strong attitude towards teamwork
• Good communication skills
• Business‑level English, intermediate German
• Valid German driving licence

Salary

Base salary range: €44,000.00 – €80,000.00 per year.
