Cognitive Medical Systems is seeking an IT Engineer (Apple Ecosystem) to manage our Apple fleet and provide end-user support in a hybrid office environment. The role emphasizes secure, automated management of endpoints and compliance with federal standards.

You will handle Jamf Pro configurations, MDM policy design, and EDR tooling for a remote-first workforce, while coordinating with external vendors and the IT service desk to meet SLAs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years in an individual contributor role managing Apple-centric enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Jamf suite of tools, such as JamfPro, JamfCloud, JamfConnect, etc.
• Strong understanding of EDR solutions and securing macOS within a federal healthcare or civilian agency context
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and NIST security frameworks as they apply to endpoint management
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, coming into an office as needed, up to three times per week

• Manage help desk service requests using Jira Service Management, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and SLA requirements
• Design and maintain MDM policies and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools to protect a remote-first workforce
• Oversee the IT service desk, ensuring high-quality support and maintaining SLAs for hardware, software, and identity access issues
• Ensure Apple devices meet NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 controls
• Manage external vendors for hardware procurement and specialized third-party Apple support

Position Overview:

The IT Engineer (Apple Ecosystem) will serve as the administrator for our Apple‑centric environment. This role focuses on delivering a seamless, secure, and automated user experience while ensuring that all endpoints meet rigorous federal security standards.

• Experience in small business or SDVOSB environments with growth‑oriented responsibilities
