We are looking to strengthen our ‘Infrastructure’ team with an IT‑Consultant (all genders) – Linux / Red Hat OpenShift. The role is based in Mainz, Wiesbaden, Frankfurt am Main or hybrid.
Aufgaben
- With your knowledge and experience in Linux and RedHat OpenShift administration, you advise and support our customers in their IT environment.
- In our team, we are responsible for the concept, set‑up and long‑term operation of an OpenShift environment.
- Planning and installation of OpenShift clusters on on‑premises platforms.
- Testing and commissioning of the OpenShift environment.
- Ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of container‑based systems.
Skills
- Extensive experience in consulting and operating Red Hat OpenShift environments and optionally other container environments.
- Technical knowledge in the following areas:
- Red Hat CoreOS as operating system
- GitHub and container registry
- Access and user management
- Automatic image updates
- Monitoring and logging
- Secure and professional handling of operations in large IT environments (preferably ITIL).
- Technical degree or completed IT‑related training.
- Strong analytical mindset and structured, independent work style.
- Willingness to conduct a security assessment (SÜ 2).
- Professional and confident demeanor with a strong service and results orientation.
- German language skills at B2–C1 in spoken and written.
