Your tasks
- As a Buyer (m / f / d), you will be jointly responsible for supporting and executing the procure-to-pay (P2P) process in operational purchasing
- You will accept SAP purchase requisitions, check their content and create purchase orders in the SAP system, including obtaining the necessary signatures and sending them to suppliers. You will also be responsible for checking the price of invoices.
- You ensure the correct creation in SAP and the use of framework agreements within the supply chain organization and you communicate / coordinate this together with the strategic buyers
- As part of the order dispatch process, you are also responsible for monitoring and checking important requirements for the ordering process (e.g. data protection, human rights and HSE)
- You are also responsible for general SAP adjustments / changes, such as account assignment changes, commitment adjustments and the creation and maintenance of supplier master data
Your profile
- You have completed commercial training or have a comparable qualification
- You also have experience in the "procure-to-pay" process and strong skills in working with SAP, ideally in MM (Materials Management module)
- You have strong communication skills and experience in dealing with internal stakeholders / requesting parties as well as suppliers and colleagues within the supply chain organization, which will help you to find your way in a diverse working environment
- You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team and react openly and flexibly to change
- You are characterized by a high degree of process orientation, an efficient and structured way of working and the ability to grasp new topics quickly
- You have acquired practical knowledge of common MS Office programs in the past and are confident in using these tools
- You also speak German very well, ideally you also have a good command of English - but this is not a must.
- Sound SAP MM knowledge in R3 and / or S4 Hana is a basic requirement
