Qualifikationen

• Abschluss in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder Ingenieurwesen.
• Erfahrung mit Python, Azure-Engineering und Dataiku.
• Gutes Verständnis von Azure-Infrastruktur.
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Stakeholder-Fähigkeiten.

Aufgaben

• Als Fach-Experte und Product Owner für Python, Azure und Dataiku arbeiten.
• Stabile, sichere tägliche Betriebsführung inkl. Incident-, Problem- und Change-Management.
• Koordination von Wartung, Upgrades und Azure-Integrationsmanagement.

IT Application Manager Energy Trading & Data Solutions (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Application Manager for our local German Energy Trading and data solutions, mainly developed in Python, Azure and Dataiku. In this role, you will enable the business to use these solutions efficiently, as well as manage the whole solution and its interfaces.

As the central expert for these solutions, you will work closely with business stakeholders and internal IT teams to maintain high availability, optimize processes, and drive digital excellence.

Together with the IT Application Manager Robotron eSales you are the core of the local operations team. The two IT Application Managers need to deputize for each other during absence.

Your responsibilities:

Application Ownership & Operations

• Serve as the primary expert and product owner for mostly local self-developed solutions in Python, Azure and Dataiku
• Ensure stable, secure, and reliable daily operation of the solutions, including incident, problem, and change management, applying your Azure infrastructure know-how
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and integration management in Azure in line with IT standards
• Drive continuous Azure engineering efforts to optimize and scale our cloud-based solutions

Business Support & Enhancement

• Act as the key interface between business and technical teams
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Manage enhancements, configurations, and system optimizations to support evolving business needs

Project & Vendor Management

• Lead or contribute to digitalization and automation initiatives leveraging local solutions
• Support implementation projects, testing, and release cycles

Quality, Security & Compliance

• Ensure data quality, system documentation, and audit readiness
• Promote adherence to IT security, data protection, and compliance standards

Your profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Profound experience with Python, Azure engineering, and data integration management in Azure
• Solid Azure infrastructure know-how to securely and efficiently manage cloud environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a customer-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of German and/or European energy market processes is a plus
• German mother tongue, fluent in English
