Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems, part of CAF Group, seeks Network Engineers Datacenter Connectivity to join on-site teams in Germany. Locations include Taufkirchen, Immenstaad, and more, with relocation and language training assistance.

The role focuses on stabilizing network infrastructure, managing providers, and collaborating across IT projects to deliver secure, scalable connectivity. German and English language proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle (Solaris/Linux), SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• C1 English level mandatory; C1 German level mandatory.
• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operation of network infrastructure (ITIL-based).
• Manage IT service providers and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
• Collaborate with IT teams on network projects and solutions.
• Plan and control costs and continuous improvement of infrastructure.
• Support root cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Manage administrative access and permissions.

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Network Engineers Datacenter Connectivity to join our on‑site teams in Germany, supporting strategic projects with Airbus in Germany.

Locations include Taufkirchen, Immenstaad and other sites across the country.
