Job summary

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) is seeking IT Systems & Network Engineers to join on-site teams in Germany, supporting Airbus IT and infrastructure projects. Locations include Immenstaad and Taufkirchen with other sites across the country.

We offer relocation assistance, accommodation support, German language training, and a permanent German contract. C1 English and C1 German are mandatory, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
• Experience in systems and network administration.
• C1 English and C1 German mandatory.
• Exposure to DevOps tools or automation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows/Linux systems, networks and Airbus on-prem infrastructures.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, routing, switching, and cybersecurity controls.
• Support the implementation of Airbus and BSI/CERT security standards.
• Participate in DevOps-related tasks (automation, deployments, CI/CD support).
• Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Collaborate with Airbus teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and documentation for operational environments.

What You Will Do

• Willingness to work in rotating schedules and occasional travel.
