Moonwalk Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading Private Equity fund to recruit an Investment Associate for its Frankfurt and Munich office. The role focuses on sourcing, evaluating and executing buyout and growth transactions, with significant emphasis on financial modelling, due diligence and value-creation initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of PE/IB/Transaction Advisory or consulting experience, strong LBO capabilities and fluent German (C1/C2) with English

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory or Management Consulting
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (LBO modelling essential)
• Proven track record on live transactions or deal execution
• German native speaker or fluent (C1/C2) — mandatory; English fluency also required
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field; CFA a plus

Aufgaben

• Source, evaluate and execute investment opportunities within the fund's target sectors
• Lead financial modelling, valuation analysis and investment due diligence
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for the Investment Committee
• Coordinate commercial, financial and legal due diligence with external advisers
• Monitor portfolio company performance and support value-creation initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, advisers and management teams
• Support senior investment professionals with deal origination and fundraising activities
• Work directly with portfolio company leadership on strategic and operational initiatives

We are currently working with a leading Private Equity fund that is looking to strengthen its investment team in Frankfurt / Munich at Investment Associate level.
