With a hands‑on investment approach, the team supports portfolio companies in strategic initiatives, operational improvements, and expansion opportunities.

Role Overview

The Investment Manager will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments in small and mid‑sized companies, as well as supporting value creation initiatives within the portfolio. The position requires a strong mix of analytical ability, transaction experience, and commercial judgment, with exposure to a broad range of industries and business models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and execute small‑cap private equity investments.
  • Lead financial modelling, company valuations, market analysis, and due diligence.
  • Prepare and present investment proposals to the Investment Committee.
  • Actively support portfolio companies in growth, operational improvement, and add‑on acquisitions.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and contribute to value creation strategies.
  • Build strong networks with entrepreneurs, advisors, and financing partners to enhance deal flow.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 4–7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • For more senior candidates: direct private equity experience, ideally with exposure to small‑ or mid‑cap transactions.
  • For more junior candidates: experience in investment banking (M&A), strategy consulting, or Big 4 Transaction Advisory, with a strong motivation to build a career in private equity.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, with attention to detail and commercial acumen.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work closely with founders and management teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in German and English.
