Mutares actively supports its portfolio companies through its own investment and operations teams and strategic add-on acquisitions, targeting businesses with revenues of EUR 100m–750m across various industries.The Investment Manager will support the investment team across the full deal lifecycle:Key Responsibilities:- Review and assess inbound investment opportunities through detailed analysis of teasers, CIMs, and confidential presentation material- Build financial models and perform return sensitivities and scenario analyses to support investment evaluations- Prepare investment screening memos for the Investment Committee (IC)- Manage projects during the due diligence phase- Coordinate tasks around signing and closing, including maintaining transaction checklists and supporting review of key commercial termsYour Profile:- Finance degree with outstanding academic results- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in Investment Banking (M&A), Transaction Services/Deal Advisory, Corporate M&A, or Private Equity, with strong focus on transaction execution- Strong analytical skills and proven experience in financial modelling- Strong project management skills with ability to manage parallel workstreams- Ability to take ownership and work independently in a lean, fast-moving team- Business fluency in German and English
