Job summary

Hunter Philips Executive Search is seeking an Investment Manager for the renewable energy sector in Hamburg. The role covers investment, M&A and project finance, with responsibility for assessing opportunities, building models and guiding deals from evaluation through to financing or closing.

You will work with developers, lenders and internal teams, gaining exposure to full investment processes and financing structures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in investment, M&A, project finance, banking, infrastructure finance or transaction advisory.
• Strong financial-modelling and valuation capability.
• Experience within renewable energy, infrastructure or a relevant transferable sector.
• Professional fluency in German and English.

INVESTMENT MANAGER – RENEWABLE ENERGY SECTOR – HAMBURG

Are you an investment, project-finance or transaction professional looking to take greater ownership of renewable-energy investments? Do you enjoy building financial models, assessing commercial risk and helping projects progress from initial evaluation through to financing or closing?

We are looking for finance professionals for current and upcoming Investment Manager opportunities across Germany's renewable-energy market.

The Market Opportunity

This position sits across investment, M&A and project finance, supporting the assessment, development and acquisition of wind, solar and battery-storage projects for a major European green energy company.

You will work on commercially significant assets and gain exposure to the full investment process, rather than being limited to a single financial analysis workstream.

Typical Scope
